With beautiful Bertone styling and a spritely 1290cc powerplant, the Tipo 750 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint was destined to be a coveted classic from the moment of its introduction in 1954, but two years later, Alfa would kick things up a notch with the debut of the Sprint Veloce "Alleggerita" (or "Lightweight"). This race-purpose model would utilize aluminum body panels and plexiglass sliding windows to minimize weight, making the Giulietta Sprint into quite a potent weapon in small-displacement sports car racing...and with only 200 produced, it would become among the most sought after of all postwar Alfas.

Beautifully finished in deep, rich red, Kyosho's Giulietta features opening hood, doors and trunk lid, which reveal a wealth of detail in the car's engine bay and cockpit. Of special note is the red flocked carpeting and wiring detail, which add an extra touch of realism to Kyosho's already excellent execution.
