Introduced in 1967, the Porsche 911S offered a hardcore driving experience that surpassed even that of the already potent 911. Powered by a 2-liter flat six rated at 180 horsepower, and equipped with a beefier suspension than "normal" 911 specification and new 911R-type Fuchs alloy wheels, the 911S quickly became a legend among Porsche enthusiasts who demanded uncompromising performance. The original Porsche 911S is now available as a highly detailed 1:43-scale resin replica by Tecnomodel. Finished in lustrous black, it features an accurately proportioned, short wheelbase body, along with beautiful chrome trim and chassis lighting lenses, while inside, a stealthy roll bar hints at the car's on-track potential.
