Bruce Leven's Bayside Disposal Racing Team was among the most popular privateers in IMSA GTP racing in the 1980s, and also one of the most successful. With a driver roster that reads like a "Who's Who" of international sports car racing, Leven's Porsche 962 prototypes would claim victory at Daytona, Sebring, and in 1987, at the Laguna Seca 300KM event. With German ace Klaus Ludwig at the wheel, the Bayside Disposal 962 would lead 64 of the race's 98 laps en route to a convincing win, a moment now commemorated by TopSpeed's exciting new 1:18-scale resin replica. Its period-evocative blue and white livery has been captured crisply, as have its intricate gold BBS race wheels and delicate rear wing uprights.
